Had breakfast with my aunt and uncle when I retuned. The girls and John were up and relaxing with them on their back patio.
John eventually found one campsite and reserved it around 9am in Golden, CO (where the Coors plant is, FYI).
After driving over there and setting up and showering, my aunt and uncle drove over to pick us up around 11am.
Drive out to Morrison, then up to the Red Rocks Park and Ampitheatre. I've wanted to see this place ever since college. A friend gave me a DVD way back when with a Moody Blues concert where they had played there and it looked like such a cool place.
It definitely lived up to my expectations!!
We then visited the Buffalo Bill Museum and grave. It was really interesting and yes, I learned a lot!
After that we drive back to the campground to grab swim suits and went to my aunt and uncles house to swim. My cousin, Julie, surprised me by driving up from her house in Taos, NM!!
After swimming for awhile we had a great dinner together and they all surprised me with an ice cream cake, a card and a birthday girl pin for my birthday!
Had a really funny game of naming state capitals after that then bed. Lol ;-)
