We made it to the KOA in Nashville! I'm so excited I can't stand it. I have been planning this trip for over 2 years and now it's finally happening. We spent most of the today in the car, starting at getting up at 5:30, leaving the house at 6:30, getting breakfast at Bojangles, packing up at the camper (which we keep at a separate storage facility in Lillington) then finally leaving town around 8:30am. We stopped for lunch around noon and made sandwiches in the camper. We finally got to Tennesse and it was POURING rain! I couldn't see the sign so the sign above is off of Google Images (lol)!
We stopped for a brake at the Russell Stover candy outlet in Sevierville, TN and bought $50+ worth of chocolate! YUM
We finally made it to the KOA around 8:30 and set up camp (relatively) easily..... If you call yelling at your 14 year old for turning on the TV in the camper BEFORE everything was set up EASY.....
Well,.... off to bed as we are doing a Nashville Trolley Tour and the Grand Ole Opry tomorrow!!! :-) I went to the GOO when I was 8 and always wanted to return!
