Linda July 17 Vegas day 2

Woke up kinda early and left for a day trip to the Grand Canyon skywalk around 9:30.  Finally go there around 12:30. Do not know why it took so long. The drive was through Boulder City, NV, which is pretty and Dolan Springs, AZ which was not.  Really would not want to live there. 

People who think Dunn, NC is small should visit Dolan Springs to see what a small town really is. 

Anyways... Lol, the drive was worth it as the skywalk was so very neat and amazing and interesting! Lindsay was very nervous being that close to the edge  beforehand but both girls loved the skywalk. 

Had lunch at Guano Point and then John took the girls on a short hike while I relaxed. 

Stopped at the Joshua Tree National Preserve on our way out and had a closer look at the cool trees. They can live up to 200 years! Did not know that! 

Stopped off at the Hoover Dam so the girls could see it as John and I have both seen it before. Lindsay thought it was so funny how she could hop back and forth between Arizona and Nevada! 

The water was very low, by the way.  The drought here is pretty bad :-(

Stopped at the Hoover Dam Casino for dinner then drove back to Vegas and rode the roller coaster, El Loco, at Circus Circus Adventuredome.
