Linda July 18 Las Vegas to Jacob Lake, AZ

Ran 3 miles in 90+ degrees. It's a dry heat, my .... Packed up as thunderstorm warnings were being issued. 

Added a plastic sheet to the broken window to protect it from the rain. Just in time too. 

So we drive ALL DAY and it rains the whole way.  Very boring. This part of the desert is not pretty. It's completely dry and there's no trees. Nothing interesting to look at. 

Pulled into the campground around 7:30. Set up and made dinner. The girls were wild because they'd been cooped up in the truck all day.  It's raining so we can't tell them to go outside.  We finally had to make them go read on their beds at 9:30 or I would have made them sleep in the truck! Lol
